We are very excited to announce our first Landscape / Startrail photography workshop in the Cederberg for 2020
After a very successful 2019 season we went scouting for new compositions on a private farm. We are very excited to kick of 2020 with some different photographic possibilities and decided to start off 2020 with a Landscape / Startrail combo at the end of February in the Cederberg. Our base will still be "Mount Ceder"; a beautiful four star lodge on the Grootriver. We will have three locations to choose from....depending on what the weather has planned for us.

Day plan
Friday afternoon - We will be arriving in the afternoon to unpack and settle down in our accommodation and we will get together at 3:00pm for a short lecture regarding landscape & startrail photography. At sunset we will do some landscape photography. Saturday morning - A 3:00am start to do some milky way photography until sunrise at a private location. After some coffee & rusks we will head back to Mount Ceder for the best breakfast in the Cederberg.
Saturday afternoon - Meet at 1:00pm till about 3:00pm for the workshop
BRAAI : between 3:00pm and 5:00pm
Saturday evening - Meet at 5:00pm for sunset and startrail at a private location with the old Chevy pickup
Sunday morning - A 3:00am start for star trail and landscape photography at sunrise. After some warm coffee & rusks we will head back to Mount Ceder for that famous breakfast. After breakfast you can leisure around and go and look at the rock paintings.....and take a slow drive back to Cape Town
A WORD ABOUT THE WEATHER
It will be at the end of summer with some hot sunny days with cool nights. It can get very cold during the night out in the veld if the wind blows.....so be prepared with warm jackets, gloves, shoes and beanie. The weather can change from nice warm clear day to cold and wet when the cold front rolls in.
